This section applies to the Samir Medhaj Astro app for iOS and Android and the website samirmedhajastro.com, operated by Medhaj Techno Concept Pvt. Ltd., India ("we", "us", "our"). Where this section differs from Sections 1 to 10, this section applies to Samir Medhaj Astro.

11.1 Information We Collect

  • Account details: name, email address and/or mobile number, used to create and secure your account.
  • Birth details you enter: name, date, time and place of birth, used to calculate birth charts, Panchang, Dasha and astrological reports. Saved chart profiles are stored with your account.
  • Location: with your permission, your device's location (precise or approximate) is used to calculate local timings such as sunrise, sunset, Hora, Choghadiya, Rahu Kaal and Panchang. You can deny or revoke this permission in your device settings and still enter a place manually.
  • Questions to the AI astrology assistant: where the app offers this feature, the questions you ask and the relevant chart details are used to generate your answer.
  • Purchase information: plan purchased, transaction ID, purchase and expiry dates, and subscription status.
  • Device and usage data: device model, operating system, app version, crash logs and push notification token, used to keep the app working and to send notifications you have enabled.

11.2 Payments and Subscriptions

  • iOS (Apple In-App Purchase): subscriptions on iPhone and iPad (Basic and Premium plans) are purchased through Apple In-App Purchase. Payments are processed entirely by Apple; we do not receive or store your card or bank details. We receive only the transaction and subscription status from Apple in order to unlock your plan.
  • Android and website: payments are processed by our payment partners (such as Razorpay). We receive only the payment status and transaction reference, not your full card or bank details.
  • Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. iOS subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your Apple ID / App Store account settings. Refunds for iOS purchases are handled by Apple under Apple's policies.
  • Terms of Use: use of subscriptions purchased through the App Store is governed by Apple's standard Terms of Use (EULA).

11.3 How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide charts, Panchang, reports and other app features; to manage your account and subscription; to send notifications you have turned on; to provide customer support; to keep the app secure and reliable; and to comply with applicable law.
